If you don't already know about 'Laska Sak', then stop what your doing, and get educated! It won't take long, I promise. We all know that every town has it's own independent clothing businesses, designing and selling clothes to pay the bills and trying to get themselves noticed; It's a great way to be creative and who knows, it could end up leading to something big. Laska Sak is a huge up and coming streetwear brand that has one aim, 'To become one of the most recognised urban brands on the planet'.
Towards the end of 2012, Ladi Kazeem (Founder) watched his dreams start to come true; it all started with one of his best friends going on the hit talent competition, The X Factor. You may have heard of him... James Arthur. *cue the screams* James auditioned in L|S clothing, went to boot camp in L|S clothing and continued to rep a good friend's garments in the public eye throughout the whole competition and afterwards. Laska Sak was being seen in newspapers, in magazines and on television all over the world and it was a massive turning point for the clothing line. It just goes to show that one little push can go a long way.
Since then it's only got bigger. Ladi and co-owner Chris decided to take me under the Laska wing to run their Tumblr, helping to promote and acquire a bigger following. After a month of doing so, they let me loose on Instagram and Facebook to accumulate more of an audience, and yes, it's accumulated. Many known faces have started to wear Laska Sak... From fellow X-Factor star Jake Quickenden, to Tumblr Queens Erika Bowes & Olivia Buck, to worldwide models Sebastian Sauve, Arran Sly and Toby Leonard to name just a few. 2013 is the year of Laska Sak and the future is definitely bright.
