Fragrance | My First Jo Malone Fragrance

Jo Malone has been at the forefront of my wishlist for over a year now and I decided to take the plunge and give myself a little post-university treat. Wrapped in the cutest box and bag, I squealed with excitement opening this package...

So as you can see from the photograph above, I decided to go for the fragrance, Blackberry & Bay which is one of the more fruitier options. I like to go for fruity fragrances rather than a musky alternative as I find that they suit my personality in that they are light, floral and a little bit zesty. Jo Malone describe it as 'vibrant' and it is just that. The top note that is definitely the most noticeable is the Blackberry, which is such a lovely scent. It's a real juicy smell that is sweet and really warm and almost homely. The other notes are Bay Leaves which adds a real natural vibe and Cedarwood to add onto that natural smells with notes of wood. Overall, it's a real lovely fragrance and to me, it smells incredible.

Jo Malone Cologne's aren't they cheapest bottles on the market, this is the smallest of the two options and retails at £40. I'll probably be keeping this for 'best' as I have so many other fragrances that I can use on a day-to-day basis. Have you tried any Jo Malone fragrances? Which are your favourite scents?
