Beauty | Playing with Pixi Makeup

I love nothing more than being introduced to makeup brands that are completely new to me. When this little box of Pixi Beauty goodness arrived, the first thing I swooned at was the packaging. I mean, those colours to me are just adorable, and something that I haven't seen on any other brand before. Little did I know that this is the same brand who do the famous Pixi Glow Tonic - a toner that I am yet to try but am forever lusting after. So what do I think?

'Flawless & Poreless' Primer* // Primers are something that I hardly ever use - it's a step that I tend to skip in my routine. The squeezy tube releases a pink/peach cream that I've been using a patting motion to blend it in on my T-Zone, which is where my obvious pores are. Although this product doesn't hide them 100%, it certainly helps in creating a 'flawless' base for foundation, smoothing out the skin to make you make-up ready. As around my nose is somewhere make-up seems to disappear from first, it also assisted in the longevity of my foundation.

'Wide Awake' Crayon Combo* // Huzzah! A dual use product - something I love! I love to really enhance certain areas of my face and this duo pencil can certainly give that boost in the eyes department. I've been using the 'Brighten' side in my waterline to make me look more awake than I actually am, something needed for those late nights and early mornings! The 'Lighten' side has been getting swept along my brow bone to make my eyebrow game stronger and I've even use it on my cupids bow to get that perfect pouty look.

I've completely enjoyed checking out this brand and trying out a few of their products - I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for them and may have to purchase that ever talked about toner! Have you tried Pixi Beauty before? You can find them here at HQ Hair! Let me know your thoughts - thanks for reading!

  2. Both of these look amazing, but I love the sound of the primer most! Anything that claims to leave the skin poreless is something I want to try.
