photo lord-and-berry-lipstick-pencil-10jpg.jpg I don't feel complete without wearing lipstick, so when I was given the chance to try out these Lord & Berry 20100 Lipstick Pencils* I accepted almost immediately. I've seen this type of product on various other blogs but have never fully understood the lipstick crayon/pencil hype... until now. With shades to suit all, these pencils have certainly impressed me. They're extremely pigmented with just one application and have such a creamy texture. Not to mention they have incredible wear time. When it came down to it, I enjoyed wearing two of the three shades; Fire is such stunning orange-almost-red shade and Fuchsia is well, a really bright fuchsia - Two of my favourite types of shades. The only pencil I wasn't particularly fond of was Diva, the deep plum shade. I found it really hard to build up the colour so it matched all over my lips. It was almost as if it slid on my lips when applying, such a shame as it looks lovely swatched on my hand.

I think I've been converted to lip crayons and pencils, they're so handy to carry around however they can be a bit messy so a steady hand is needed! Are you a fan of this type of lipstick? What brands would you recommend for this kind of thing? Let me know in the comments, thanks for reading!

  3. Diva is a beautiful colour but I can see what you mean about application. Such a shame. The other two are gorgeous also. These seem quite matte? I only have the Rimmel version of this kind of product and they're very glossy, I'd love a slightly more matte version like how these appear in the pictures.

  9. Fire and Diva are my favourites, they do look awesomely pigmented! I prefer lip crayons coz I find I can apply them more precisely, don't know if that's weird. Will look out for these! xx

  21. I just purchased a few Lord & Berry products as I have seen the hype about them too. I purchased a plum colored lipstick (fortunately it's NOT Diva), so I'm curious to see what that will look like! Also, I very much like Fuchsia on you!
