Beauty | L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer

There's one thing that I don't switch up in my collection often, and that is concealers. I'm forever sworn to the holy-grail-for-many Collection Lasting Perfection that covers blemishes so brilliantly. But, what about those under eye circles that forever haunt me after a less-than-8-hour sleep? A couple of Boots trips ago, I needed one other item to complete my 3 for 2 (or 9 for 6, depending on how you look at it) and I'm not lying when I say that I picked up the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer for no other reason than for fulfilling the offer. So do I like it?

The rose gold packaging encases a pen-style brush with a twist up function that pushes the product up into the bristles of the brush. This makes really easy application and you can be precise on the amount of product you apply, and where you apply it. Although the concealer isn't really for high coverage lovers, therefore won't cover up any blemishes, it is fabulous at highlighting the under eye area whilst covering minor dark circles. I draw on a elongated triangle and blend in first with a brush, then lightly with my finger. I love how it brightens, on picture two my right eye is highlighted and my left eye isn't and I can totally tell a difference. Oh yeah, it doesn't crease either. Which really means a lot these days with concealers doesn't it?

Do you have a different concealer for blemishes and your under eye area? I'd love to know if you've tried this too, word on the street is that it's a dupe for the YSL Touche Eclat concealer! Thanks for reading!

  5. I stick to the Collection 2000 one as I'm just used to it and I trust it. I do struggle to cover my under eye circles though so I tried the Rimmel lasting perfection concealer and it didn't help. This looks like it really works so I'm definitely going to try this out x

  20. I'd definitely love to try this, as I'm all for an 'under the eye' concealer to remove any traces of tired eyes - I use MAC's Prep+Prime stick perfect for this and highlighting which is perfect for complimenting a contoured look :)

  21. I'm the same with the Collection concealer, I rarely use anything else! I tried the Bourjois healthy mix one which was really good for brightening - this is another one that's on my list to try!
