Beauty | The Zoeva Nude Palette

 photo zoeva-matt-palette-3jpg.jpg

My 20th Birthday was full of wonderful surprises, including the latest addition to my make-up collection; The Zoeva Nude Palette. Even after a few less-than-subtle hints to my boyfriend, I was still shocked to unwrap this beauty last week. After lusting after my very own MAC palette for what seems like forever, when I'd seen that Lily had reviewed this on her blog, I knew that I had to have it - A cheap and cheerful alternative indeed!

The palette contains 28 beautiful matte and shimmer eye shadows that can fill everybody's neutral needs. The combination of warm bronzes, cool browns, highlighters and the odd pink and purple shades make this palette a dream to have in my collection. Texture wise, I didn't expect these shadows to be amazing but they've really surprised me. They're pigmented enough to create great everyday looks, can really be built up and are blend-able for a smoky night time look.

photo zoeva-matt-palette-6jpg.jpg Considering a MAC Palette can come up to £150+, this is a bargain at only £21 inc. shipping. I'm in absolute awe! I'm really excited to experiment with this palette and will be hopefully creating a series of looks for you guys. What are your thoughts on this palette? Would you consider purchasing something like this instead of a MAC Palette? Make sure you let me know in the comments, thank you for reading!

  3. I've been thinking about getting this! As much as I love my MAC eyeshadows, they're getting a little too expensive to buy all the time now. Is there a good amount of matte & satin/shimmer shadows included? They're my fav! xx
