Seasons change and so do our favourites. I've accepted a few new things into my life over the past few weeks. Yes, they're all pink...
Now I don't completely (insert quotation hand gestures) 'get' celebrity fragrances unless they look cute and smell amazing. Thankfully, Katy Perry's Mad Love (£24) does just that. I mean, a cutesy pastel pink bottle with a marble detailed lid, lemme just pop that right at the front of my perfume collection. The scent is fruity and playful with a hint of seductiveness with top notes carrying fruit such as strawberry and apple sorbet, whilst lower notes are the likes of sandalwood and musk - a real combination! I've been applying it like Katy does her fragrance by spritzing and walking into it rather than directly on my skin, there's nothing like someone who smells a bit too strong!
I have had a bit more spare time as of recent, which has made me even more excited to play with my makeup, so reaching deep within my makeup drawers is a regular occurrence now. I remember receiving the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (£38.50) a few years back and although I thought it was super pretty, I wasn't sure how the shades would work - but boy, do they work. They can create such a pretty, daytime look that are soft and simple without being too much. I've been reaching for it more to create something that glistens on the eyes.
Some products that are relatively new to my collection, yet I have fallen immediately in love with is the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Gift Set (£18). Now these little miniature versions are part of their Christmas collection but they are just the most adorable little lippies ever, perfect to throw into your handbag or purse! As long as your lips are prepped and moisturised well, these little cherubs are a dream. They apply well and stay around for hours upon end with barely any touchups needed! Keep an eye out on my Twitter soon as you may be able to win a set of these beauties for yourself!
Finally, something less beauty related but has definitely been a fall essential as the weather has seemed to have gone totally up side down in the past few weeks. This pink, fluffy snood from Primark was only £4, what a steal! It has been keeping my little self totally warm in the blistering winds that seem to have took over the North East. It's definitely a necessity for the Autumn/Winter months.
These can also be seen as great little gifts for that thing we call Christmas that is fast approaching! Anyone else not started shopping yet? Treat your loved one, whether it sister or friend to a fabulous new fragrance this year, or even better yet - try to win one down below!
