October has come and gone in the blink of an eye and wow, have a lot of things happened! Here's a lowdown...
| The month started with a whizzing weekend down to Leeds for this year's Bloggers Blog Awards, which you can read more about here. As you may know, I was shortlisted in two categories this year and I came away winning both - which was just unbelievable and is still something I can't quite grasp the concept of. I had such a wonderful weekend surrounded by the loveliest bunch of bloggers known to the blogger-sphere, can I spend every weekend like that, please?
| This month seen us start to take our new home life very seriously! As mentioned in my latest post (read that here!) I should be moving into my new place pretty soon. Myself and my partner traveled up to Newcastle to our nearest Ikea for a day full of pots, pans, and a whole load'a meatballs! We scooted our way around the aisles of dreamy home living and picked up lots of necessities for our new pad, now just lemme get in there!
| October saw another one of those birthdays happen, and this time it was mine. I wrote a post about 23 Things Turning 23, a list of what I have learned about myself and others over the years. It's totally okay that I still feel around eighteen, right? Because I totally do! I suppose I'm still considered as young in the grand scheme of things but growing up is scary stuff! Life keeps throwing me curveballs, I sometimes think it's like The Truman Show or something...
| There's been a rather large change in my life, things have decided to take me down a different path and guess what? I am totally okay with it and I have strangely never felt better. I feel as if a lot of people would let it stop them from advancing in some way. But not me, I'm excited about a brand new fresh start and I know that exciting things will come my way...
| Something rather random that I've been grateful for is the colder, darker evenings. Don't get me wrong, I love going out and mingling with my friends as I love being surrounded by the fantastic people in my life. But there is some comfort I have been getting from relaxing on an evening in my cosy pyjamas with a hot chocolate and my laptop in tow. Although I love summer time due to all the brightness, I'm kinda adjusting well to this Autumn life...
