Blogging | A Huge Thank You

Megan Lillie from Thumbelina Lillie
I am here today with a blog post that I am buzzing to write, honestly, it feels like my fingers are going ten to the dozen...

First and foremost, I want to say a huge thank you to the most important person, Hayley. Hayley once dreamt up the Bloggers Blog Awards and for the second year in the row, that dream has become a reality and the awards are back and bigger than ever. The past two years she has worked countless days and had many-a-sleepless night for the awards to be as kick-ass as they are. From finding category judges to scheduling tweets to organising the event itself and getting so many amazing brands on board, this girl is the definition of GIRLBOSS. What she has done for the blogging community is insane, and I salute her for it.

Secondly, thank you to you guys, the readers of Thumbelina Lillie. Being shortlisted last year was incredible, but to be going into these awards with two shortlists feels pretty surreal. Blogging is at my very core and is a huge part of me, so to be involved in something that's created by bloggers for bloggers is great. The entire blogging community is full to the brim of wonderful and inspiring bloggers, I could spend hours listing them all. This blog awards is not about cliques and being glossy, it's about real blogs with real, raw people behind them, a complete and utter mix of talent and it's a sheer privilege to be a part of it.

I'm not gonna ask you to vote for me, that's your decision. But vote here for your favourite bloggers and give them a big internet hug will you? It'll make their day.

Megan. xo
