When it comes to jewellery, you will rarely find me in anything brash and bold. I often like to keep it plain and simple so the pieces featured in todays post are just that…

Last week, my favourite gal pal Carli and myself, popped along to the latest cocktail club in town, The Nuthatch (post to come!). We thought it would be the perfect photo opportunity to snap some pictures of my latest outfit. I have had a bit of a crisis in regards to clothes lately, I struggle to find pieces that I like and when I do, they just don’t seem to fit right. When I found this ASOS Lace Babydoll Dress (£28), it was immediate love at first sight. With a subtle flare to the skirt, long lacy arms and a high neckline, it makes me feel all girly and well, me. Paired with some tights, because April showers yo, and my favourite super lady-like satin Lucinda Boden Heels (now £47.60), I was ready for some cocktails.
But what makes this outfit is all the stunning jewellery from Jewellery Box, everything is so dainty, yet so beautiful, that it just completely ties the outfit together. As you know, Unicorns are kinda my thing (aren’t they everyone’s nowadays?), so having a little mythical creature in the form of this Unicorn Necklace (£7.05) was perfect. To add a spring in my step with all this bright weather (NOTE: and a light drizzle), a little Daisy Bracelet (£6.85) was dangling on my wrist. The chain is so light and delicate that it doesn’t interrupt the simple flow of the outfit and doesn’t cause any ‘clunking’ about on table tops. I am definitely more of a silver jewellery girl than a gold, so this little trio of rings made me super happy. The Half Eternity Dots Ring (£5.85), Crystal Bow Ring (£6) and Twisted Ring (£5.15) all stack together to make a beautiful little arrangement on your fingers. Jewellery Box have so many rings that you can mix and match to suit your style and everything is so affordable yet made with great quality metals.
I always say this, but I have missed shooting outfit posts and this is one of my all time favourites. I think because it is just ‘me’. Let me know how you like to style up your jewellery and whether you prefer something dainty or something slightly bolder, I would love to know.
