Fragrance | Three Fragrances To Try

Jo Malone, Laura Mercier and Paco Rabanne Fragrance
Laura Mercier Creme Brûlée Fragrance
Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay Fragrance
With a New Year, usually comes a new scent from the festive celebrations. I got a brand spanking new one in December, so I thought I'd put two alongside it and give you some new options...

The newest one to my fragrance collection comes from Laura Mercier. The Creme Brûlée EDT (£42.50) is most probably the sweetest scent that I have owned, and possibly one of my most favourite ones too. It is slightly floral, has a touch of vanilla but the main body of the scent comes from a comforting caramel - not for the savoury lovers amongst you guys. I tried the Body Cream of this scent a few years ago and fell madly in love with it, so this went straight to the top of Santa's list last year.

Something that is sweet, but not as sweet as the previous, is my go-to occasion scent, Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay (£42). It's much more of a fresh smell, with a mix of fruity notes from the blackberries and woody notes from bay leaves. It's a scent that really stands out on the skin, like most Jo Malone fragrances, and is vibrant enough to wear all year round with the citrus that can be smelt within the cologne. Although Jo Malone is a very pricey brand when it comes to fragrance, the notes are so strong that your money is certainly not wasted.

Finally, something completely different. Paco Rabanne's Olympea (£40) comes in the most beautiful rose gold bottle that's bound to look stunning on anyone's shelf. Although the perfume still has notes of vanilla and a few other sweet things such as mandarin, it's not as oriental as the previous two. With added essences of ginger lily and jasmine, it really wakens you up and is strong scented, in a good way! It's a really powerful choice, that makes me feel badass whenever I wear it.

So if you're in the market for a new fragrance, there's three new options for you! Let me know in the comments what your go-to scent is and whether you have tried any of the above. My collection is constantly growing - I never knew I liked perfumes so much!
