Summer time is my favourite when it comes to fragrance. I am a floral and fruity gal and this is when they seem to shine so here's five of my current favourites...
Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier (£30.40) | This one has had a firm place in my everyday bag at the moment. At first, I never really got the interest in fig scented fragrances but this one has definitely changed my mind. Its subtle, fruity vibrancy is really sweet which has been great for the brighter days that we've been having.
Marc Jacobs Lola (£38.50) | I suppose I love this as much like the previous, it has notes of peppercorn which obviously is something that I like. However I tend to use this more on an evening due to the warm musk within the scent. Not to mention that Marc Jacob bottles are most definitely the prettiest out there.
Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 (£27) | I first heard of this from Zoella and was interested from the word go. A fragrance that smells different on everyone due to it working with everyone's individual body chemistry?! HOW COOL. Although I can't tell you how it smells on me, people seem to quite like the scent, which is a good thing. Right?
Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay (£42) | I spoke about this fragrance more in depth here, but it hasn't half proved itself since I bought it. The blackberry scent is long lasting on the skin and perfectly fruity for the summer. Although these most certainly aren't the cheapest fragrance by the millilitre, they are some of the most prominent smelling.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh (£55.50) | After loving the original Daisy so much, I knew that I would love the Eau So Fresh version equally, if not more. Packed with fruits such as grapefruit, pear and raspberry, this is the most playful of the five. Although a little on the larger side of life to go into my handbag, this makes a great day-to-day perfume.
Let me know in the comments whether you have any of these fragrances and if they are a staple in your summer perfume wardrobe! Also, feel free to share your favourite perfumes for summer, do you have one that you reach for every year? Thanks for reading!
