Event | New to The Body Shop 2015

A few weeks back now I was invited to The Body Shop store in Metro Centre, Newcastle with my good bloggy buddy Gianni to see their first few releases of 2015. Let's see what is in store, literally...

It was lovely to meet the staff of this store as it is one I haven't visited before and as always, they were super-friendly, helpful and full of knowledge. They showed us the new additions to the Nutriganics range and an exciting new Valentines-Day-ready scent which has some make-up bits to go alongside it. First off, lets talk skincare. The brand-new Drops of Youth Overnight Sleeping Mask is one for those who's skin is lacking in bounce as this sets out to create a more youthful and hydrated look and feel to the skin. Next time you're in your local store, give this a little prod with the spatula and see how bouncy it is. In addition to this, they have brought out the Drops of Youth Wonderblur, which can double up as a primer. It has the same texture as the Instablur and once applied it smoothes the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines. I would however, recommend wearing foundation over this as, from personal experience, it can start to flake off after a while.

The new scent being brought out for Valentines is their Smoky Poppy range, which isn't available to buy just yet! It consists of their usual shower gel, body butter and eau de toilette and brand new additions of bath bombs - how exciting?! As for make-up, TBS have created the cutest poppy-like brush which is nothing like what I've seen before, certainly a novelty product. Along side this they have a universal Lip & Cheek Stick which comes up a different colour on all skin tones and a brightly coloured Eyeshadow Shimmer Cube. The only downside I can see is that the colour don't really go alongside the whole theme of the scent, which I find rather odd.

So that is what is brand new and what is going to be coming soon to The Body Shop! Which release are you excited for the most? I'm uber excited to give the Bath Bombs a try myself! Let me know in the comments below, thanks for reading!
