Beauty | MAC 'Pearl' Cream Colour Base

I love a glowing complexion from day to day, highlighter is something that I wear every single day without fail. It completely perks up your skin and makes you look glowing and healthy. I remember Gabby using this product in a lot of her old makeup tutorials so on my last trip to MAC, I thought that I'd pick up the Cream Colour Base in Pearl (£15.50), a formula of highlighter that I hadn't really tried before.

The consistency is exactly what it says on the tin, a cream; However at first I found that the product is really difficult to apply, I just couldn't seem to get enough product onto my finger/brush. I found to use this product more efficiently, it works a lot easier if you warm the product up first as the consistency becomes a lot more creamier. I've been using a Real Techniques Detailer Brush to apply the product under my brow bone to emphasise my eyebrows and my fingers to apply it to the high points of my cheeks. It blends into the skin seamlessly and really stands out once you build the product up. I find that the product does last for a couple of hours before coming non-existent, the more I put on the longer it seems to last for. This is definitely an icy, pearlescent shade that's perfect for a wintery glow (if that's a thing?!)

Another day, another highlighter - I'm becoming obsessed with highlighting at the moment. This mixed with L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer is a match made in heaven! Have you tried any of the Cream Colour Bases? Is this a highlighter that you'd be interested in getting your hands on? Let me know in the comments below, thanks for reading!
