This is a bit out of the ordinary isn't it? A kind of lifestyle post. I thought of this as something I would love to share with you all so dang-nabbit I'm gonna just do it. You see, I may come across pretty chirpy 24/7, but like everyone else I do have my moments and days where I feel, well, poo. I'll be stubborn & grumpy and just feel like I want to breakdown and cry. I'll be confused at life in general and ask myself questions; 'What now?' 'Where next'?' 'Why me?'. But there's always this one thing that makes me feel 100% better in an instant... Dr Suess' 'Oh, The Places You'll Go'.
I discovered this book a couple of years ago and it's made such a difference with my outlook on life. It reminds me that life really is a roller coaster and that sometimes rubbish things do happen. Every time I read or listen to it, my mood is uplifted and I feel motivated. I feel ready to pick myself up. I feel ready to make a difference. I feel ready to get cracking with a task. I feel ready to apologise. I feel ready to be inspired by my surroundings. I feel ready to stop moping around. But most importantly, I feel ready to believe in myself. That's where I think motivation begins, when you believe you can do something. Just remember, you can do absolutely anything you set your mind to, don't let anyone stand in your way.
I don't want to spoil the book but you can purchase the book on Amazon or listen to it on YouTube, I'll leave the clip below. It's only on for several minutes, but please take time to have a listen & let me know how you feel after. I'd love to know if it motivates you too!
