Beauty | My Highstreet Repurchases

A fair amount of my beauty shopping occurs right in my local Boots. Here's some bits from the high street that I will repurchase over & over again until they are discontinued (Pls don't).

There's a common theme across these three products and that is that they are all base products. Despite having some higher end foundations that I love, when I need to play it safe and for day to day usage I'll always reach for the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation (£10.99). It is a medium-buildable coverage that still lets your skin look like skin and doesn't cake up to look unflattering yet it leaves a natural dewiness. The product blends in seamlessly and can last well for a full working day with minimal touch ups. I have a normal shade and a summer shade (photo proof here. Yes, I go that dark) and I can easily mix the two when I am inbetween. The base photographs well and is commonly featured when I take makeup photos for Thumbelina Lillie. I will always recommend it to friends as it works well on both dry and oily skin. It makes me never want to buy another drugstore base again!

I am gonna mention it because I am being honest as per; I am one of those who frigging loves the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19). Almost everyone I meet is a huge fan of this little tube and within good reason. The coverage is impeccable for the teeny tiny and most importantly, affordable price and a bottle can last well if your skin allows you to use it in moderation. Spots be gone with this, well, hidden shall I say. The other concealer that I repurchase like no other is one I use for under eye highlighting and that is the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer (£8.49) and it is probably one of my top five products ever. It lifts the under eyes, brightening them to look more awake whilst creating shape to not make your face look flat. This with a bronzer is almost Kim K contour worthy. It isn't full coverage so I wouldn't recommend for dark circles, but if you want to add some extra brightness - this is the one.

So there's three beauties that I will continue to repurchase until I find better alternatives; I think they are all pretty affordable and are great finds on the highstreet. Let me know in the comments below whether you have tried any of these products and what your thoughts on them are. Do you love them as much as I do? Thanks for reading!
