On Saturday night, me and my gal pals went out to celebrate a friend's birthday. I'm not a 'go out four times a week' kinda girl, so when I do go out, I like to put a bit more effort in than usual. I got these extensions for my 18th and they're just about on their way out *cry*. Extensions are pretty controversial, but I really like them; If they match your hair and aren't ratty, then what's the problem? I wasn't blessed with long, luscious locks (excuse the alliteration) so sometimes I just like to pretend okay! Anyway, I bought these little cat ears for £3.50 (sale) in Topshop last week before I went to see One Direction and I just had to show you them. I didn't think I'd be able to pull them off, but with an outfit so simple, it just kinda worked! For any of those that are interested, One Direction were amazing! I don't care that I'm 19, I was so chuffed that I got to see them live again along with one of my other favourite bands, 5 Seconds of Summer. Me and Harry definitely held eye contact for at least 10 seconds and if you didn't know, I actually met him at Leeds Festival in 2011, he gave me a potato. Now that's love...

    Thats such a cute outfit! I'm the same as you, not blessed with long locks so I don't see a problem with enhancing them; I mean people do it with fake lashes and fake tan! x

    Awww, well you're the prettiest kitty I ever did see! ;) I think extensions are 100% okay if they look natural, like yours! That colour dressreally suits you. 19 isn't too old to like 1D, I'm in my late 20s and I don't mind rockin' out to some of their tunes haha.     those cat ears are adorable! I used to wear hair extensions for a long looong time but then (last year i think) i ditched them and decided to go natural. It's nice being able to like myself for who I am and for my real hair (soppy line, but when wearing extensions everyday for years its a little depressing!) I would love to have long hair sometimes but I don't think i'd buy any ever again... I have emotional issues with them now hahaha x

    The ears are so cute!! And yes, if extensions are done right then they're great for adding extra volume and length to your hair. I used to wear them but now my hair colours changed they don't match anymore. My hair grew fairly long now anyway too. If they sold my colour out here though I'd probably be inclined to get them again :)
